The article gives an overview of some of the most important decisions of the Japanese Supreme Court in the area of private law covering the period of November 2020 to October 2021 and thus continuing from where the overview for the year 2020 (ZJapanR / J.Japan.L 53 (2022) 207 ff.) left off.
