Rechtsvergleichung in Wissenschaft und Praxis – ergibt das (noch) Sinn?

Abstract

In his article, the author summarizes his decades of personal experience in informal and institutional (legal) exchange in academia and practice in a German- Japanese and German-Taiwanese context. In particular, the German- Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV), the Journal of Japanese Law, the exchange between Japanese and German judges and prosecutors as well as the German-Taiwanese Association of Jurists (DTJV) and their respective development and activities are discussed.
