Abstract

The contribution gives an overview over the newly amended rules for international jurisdiction in civil proceedings in Japan. The new regime came into force on 1 April 2012 based on amendments of the Civil Procedure Act and the Civil Provisional Remedies Act in 2011. A German translation of the amendments is provided.
